Getting married at the Bradley Inn affords the option of saying “I do” beneath an antique Victorian arbor cascading with English roses or at the edge of the bold Atlantic Ocean sheltered by the magical Pemaquid Lighthouse.
We offer a variety of rooms at reasonable prices, complimentary morning coffee, sketchy wireless internet, little to no cell service, cable on flat screen televisions, in room refrigerators, laundry facilities, and the sounds of a crashing surf and magical sunrises. We know you have a number of hotel options when you visit the Damariscotta-Bristol area and we are confident that you will come back again and again after staying with us for the value and the unbelievable location. There is no other hotel closer to the ocean and the lighthouse than the Hotel Pemaquid!
The Inn overlooks the harbor and offers rooms all with private baths, most overlooking the water. There are also twenty cottage units, some on the water, many with water views. The Gosnold provides simple yet comfortable accommodations and has a breakfast porch overlooking the harbor. The library, with two large stone fireplaces, is an area for reading, conversation, and games. The Gosnold wharf provides an excellent place to watch the harbor activities.
Located on midcoast Maine's historic Pemaquid peninsula, Harborside itself sits on the edge of picturesque New Harbor where guests can watch the harbor's activities from their porches or from our private dock. A small rowboat and several kayaks are also available for our guests’ use. Without the interruption of telephones or screens (though wifi is available on the office porch for those needing to ‘check-in’), Harborside offers the perfect opportunity to disconnect, spend time with family and friends, and truly relax!
Thompson Cottages is a third generation business providing Oceanfront Cottages in New Harbor on a weekly basis. Our aim is to provide a clean, quiet, comfortable, and well prepared space where you and your family can enjoy the unrivaled beauty of our Maine coast. We want you to see the Atlantic Ocean, hear the sounds of the surf, and to feel, smell, and touch the rocky shore without the distractions of television and telephones.
